Together, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi and Kiera Chaplin will embark on a 9-day adventure through the Moroccan desert, driving an Citroen E-Mehari, and excited to take on this challenge together, extending a friendship that began back in New York City. Kiera is a repeat participant, having competed last year, and for Jazmin, this will be her first time. They are proud to be participating in this amazing female empowerment event as teammates.

About Jazmin Grace Grimaldi

Granddaughter of Academy Award winner Grace Kelly, who became Princess Grace of Monaco, and daughter of Prince Albert of Monaco, Jazmin is following in her grandmother's footsteps and pursuing a career in acting and singing. A graduate of Fordham University in New York City, she majored in International Business with an emphasis on Humanitarian Affairs and minored in Theater. Her hope is to marry humanitarianism with the arts, a passion from when at the ripe age of 14, she founded, “The Jazmin Fund,” to help Fijians, particularly children, achieve a healthier quality of life.

The fund is managed by the Naqaqa Giving Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation whose mission is to fulfill educational, health, and emergency needs. In 2006, Jazmin focused on bringing basic classroom and medical supplies to Fijian villages during an eight-island mission. Presently, she has launched her new philanthropic project; building a community hall in Nadi village, which like most of Fiji, was heavily impacted by cyclone Winston in 2016. The hall will focus on art and music. She is currently fundraising through The Jazmin Fund website (https://www.thejazminfund.com/) to build the hall the summer of 2018.

Following graduation from Fordham University, she became a consultant at the United Nations World Food Programme, while continuing her acting studies at The Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City. In 2015, the ever-privacy conscious Jazmin Grace granted her first and only interview from the Palace in Monaco, with a pictorial by Michael Avedon, grandson of renowned photographer, Richard Avedon. Trained as a classical singer, her musical abilities were showcased in a cabaret-style concert, “Fall in Love With Jaz,” at Manhattan's Duplex Theatre, while backed by her twangy four-piece band, she performed soulful takes on musical standards inspired by Sia to Freddie Mercury. Moving on from her one woman show, she began writing and collaborating on new music and plans to release her debut EP later this year.

Currently, she is pursuing a career in film and theater, with roles in a few short films. Recently, she completed the lead role in a short film, “The Scarlet M,” at the prestigious USC School of Cinema in Los Angeles (https://www.instagram.com/jazmingrimaldi/).

About Kiera Chaplin

Actress and model Kiera Chaplin has graced the covers of Town & Country and Harper's Bazaar as well as the pages of fashion and gossip magazines worldwide. This young lady is genuine “Hollywood Royalty,” with a grade “A” artistic DNA heritage, as a granddaughter of film legend Charlie Chaplin and Oona O'Neill, and a great-granddaughter of Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winning playwright Eugene O'Neill.

Kiera began her modeling career in New York as a teenager, where she began gracing the pages of high fashion magazines such as: Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle Magazine. She has appeared in various ad campaigns such as United colors of Benetton, Tommy Hilfiger, Asprey, Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld, Armani Exchange, and has even appeared in the Pirelli Calendar shot by Peter Lindberg.

Miss Chaplin has shot with many of the fashion industry's top photographers during her time as a model: Bruce Weber, Herb Ritz, Greg Kadel, Mario Testino, Pamela Hanson, Michel Compte, Inez and Vinoodh and Karl Lagerfeld. FHM magazine named Kiera 17th most eligible woman on their list and GQ gave her the 7th spot on the “100 sexiest woman” list. Recently Kiera has collaborated with Hogan Rebel and designed a limited edition sneaker for them, making her mark in the fashion world that much stronger.

Kiera Chaplin has starred in a number of movies such as “The Importance of Being Ernest” featuring Reese Witherspoon, Ruppert Everett, Judy Dench and Colin Firth. She has also appeared in “The Year that Trembled” directed by Jay Craven, “Japan” featuring Peter Fonda, and “Chaurahen” directed by Rajshree Ojha. Her most recent movie was "Interno Giorno”, directed by Tommaso Rossellini, which also stars the great actress Fanny Ardant.

One of Kiera's biggest passions is helping charities. She recently received an award from UNESCO for her work in supporting their cause. On November 20th 2012, Kiera Chaplin was announced first world ambassador to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, whose goal is to help troubled teenagers get back on their feet.
