Launch of the 28th edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles
START VILLAGE & DONATION COLLECTION, NICE
The 28th edition of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc is underway!
At 3 o’clock, the 143 teams present in Nice will cross the official start line. Their destination: the first bivouac, where they will meet up with the 22 teams who are doing their technical and administrative verifications directly in Morocco.
In the meantime, the Gazelles are keeping busy at the Start Village! The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles is also an event with a social mission, a fact that the Gazelles understand and appreciate.
Their commitment has taken the form of several tons of donations, brought with them to Nice, where volunteers and former Gazelles set to work hand in hand to sort them by category (children’s clothing, adult clothing, baby supplies, toys, accessories, medical supplies…).
Sorting the donations is painstaking work, allowing the Donations Unit team to redistribute them to Moroccan families according to their individual needs as identified ahead of time, on the ground, by Cœur de Gazelles volunteers.
The goal?
To tailor the donation process to the actual needs of the people, transforming the simple act of donating into a partnership.

Maghreb Solutions and CBA Informatique are also committed to helping isolated Moroccan populations.
Partners of the 2018 Medical Caravan, both companies have brought several boxes of donations collected from their employees to the Start Village this morning.
But their commitment goes further than that, as Maghreb Solutions is in charge this year of transporting all the donations to Morocco and accompanying the Medical Caravan to the country’s most remote villages where the donations are to be distributed.
